Swasey Spring Book Fair!
The Book Fair will be held in the Library Media Center from March 31st through April 6th. Students will be able to browse and purchase books during their library time. Kindergarten will visit the book fair on Friday, April 1st. Preschool will visit on Wednesday, April 6th.
If students are going to purchase books, please be sure to put their money or check, payable to "Swasey Activity Fund", in an envelope with their name on it.
Family shopping time will be held on Wednesday, April 6th from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Books can also be purchased online from March 26th through April 8th.
For more information, please visit our Book Fair Home Page .If you order books online, they will be delivered to the school once the online fair closes. If you would like the books you order to be a surprise for your student, please be sure to email me so I can contact you when the books arrive.

Information for Parents of Incoming Students for Fall of 2016
Swasey Central School Kindergarten
If you have a child who will be five years old by September 30, 2016 and you will be sending him/her to Swasey School kindergarten, please call the Swasey School office (642-3487) and give them your child’s name, address, telephone number, date and place of birth. Please call by March 1.

Rose is a Competency-Based Learning and Assessment Specialist assisting schools throughout the United States in designing high quality competency, assessment and grading systems. A New Hampshire resident, Rose is a motivational speaker and presenter in the areas of competency-based learning, digital learners, differentiation, and school leadership. She is an author, a consultant to the NH Department of Education, an Adjunct Professor in Educational Leadership at Plymouth State University, has been a partner in the Nellie Mae Education Foundation, and has served as Principal in Residence for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Currently she is working with SAU 16 schools to support our efforts as we move toward implementing competency based education for all of our students. Please click here to watch the video.
