Practice Routine 

1.              Take the top card from the flashcard deck.

2.            Child reads the fact out-loud, and says the answer.

3.            Parent checks the answer.

4.            Place cards answered correctly in a pile and place those answered incorrectly in a separate “Try Again” pile.

5.            Repeat with next card in deck.  Continue until all cards are practiced or for as long as time allows.

6.            Pick up the “Try Again” pile.

7.            Say each “Try Again” fact with the correct answer five times. (7+3=10, 7+3=10. 7+3=10, 7=3=10. 7+3=10)

8.            Store cards by strategy group

9.            Continue to practice this set of cards until your child brings the next strategy sheet home.
