Step one: Start by asking yourself these questions.

• What do I want the site to do?

• Who do I want to visit my site? What can I do to keep them interested? 

• How should I organize the site. Draw a graphical outline of each web page, noting content.  Draw links between pages .  Name site and pages.  Use this outline to create site.

• What look will help convey my message to my intended audience? (exciting, humorous, serious)

• Look at other websites for ideas.

Step two:  Write content for the site.  

Step three:    Open Composer in Netscape.

•      Go to Window on tool bar at top of page.

•      Find and click on Composer on the drop down menu.

Step four:  Click on Save as under file.  Name file using all lowercase letters no spaces.

Step five: Insert table

Choose Table on the tool bar. Choose insert. Choose size and number of rows and columns.

Step six:  Choose fonts, graphics and background.

Step seven: Insert horizontal line

Step eight: Insert date revised and contact information.

Step nine:  Insert information.

Save often.
