About the Computer Lab

The Swasey computer lab is equipped with 22 networked desktop computers (Windows platform), a ceiling mount projector and screen, a laser network printer, and two networked color printers. Each class in grades 1-5 has computer lab class once each week. Lessons are designed by the classroom teachers to build computer skills and integrate curricular content.

During summer, 2006, the lab was divided in half to create another room for our growing population. The school computer servers and phone system are housed in a closet in the lab.
